About Lunareb
Lunareb is an independent buying-guide site about LED recessed lighting. We help you pick the right lights for your ceiling without wading through spec sheets.
We write for homeowners who are lighting a kitchen, finishing a basement or replacing old ceiling lights. You don't need an electrician's vocabulary to follow along, because we explain words like canless, retrofit and 5CCT in plain English.
What we cover
Our guides cover slim wafer lights, retrofit lights that fit existing can housings, and the small details that decide a purchase. That includes size, pack count, brightness, color setting, dimming and night-light modes.
Many guides go room by room, and some compare two types or two brands side by side. That way you can see the trade-offs before you buy.
How we work
We read the product details, specs and maker information for every light we cover. We also look at the patterns in what buyers say about each one.
Then we turn that into clear picks and short guides. Our How we research page explains the steps.
What we don't do
We don't make or sell lights, and no brand pays us to rank its products. Lunareb is not connected to any lighting maker or store.
We don't give wiring instructions. For new wiring, call a licensed electrician and follow the maker's manual and your local rules.
We also don't claim to have tested every light ourselves. Our picks come from research, and we say so.
